Just got a call from Craig Cleary out on a shuttle and he wants everyone to know that there's been work done on the 'Barn Door' landing. Craig said a full bike length has been cut off making it 'tricky' he said. So heads up folks- trails changes are constantly occuring, check the jump before you end up in a lump! Ride aware and with care!

I've never landed close to the top, but I'm curious as to why effort is being made to make the features more technical.
ReplyDeletePersonally I would be concerned about injuries from riders that have ridden the feature previously. I mean, if someone can sue because they ran into a locked gate, changing a feature "just because" without adequate signage seems like it just opens the door to liability.
Just my 2 cents.
WHAT A BUMMER! THAT WAS THE SAFEST FEATURE IN POST AS FAR AS SMOOTHNESS. HAVEN'T SEEN THE CHANGES YET BUT I'LL BE SURE TO CHECK IT OUT AND MAKE A REPOST.
ReplyDeleteYea, because this is such an ADA area. Anyone attempting this automatically signs a waiver release at the first moment they begin the drop...
ReplyDeleteThats Post Canyon for ya. Change stuff every few years. Why not some new trails instead of changing the one's people know?
ReplyDeletethese change seems like very careless and selfish!!!!
